These days, smartphones were one of the needs to our daily lives. We could say that, without them we would be living in a complicated life. This can be seen in the past pandemic, people who were without smartphones having hard times. Those days before entering the premises, customers need to scan the qr code to show whether they were vaccinated or not. With the aid of smartphones, people also could keep in touch with their loved ones who were staying miles away. Besides that, it also leads to problems in modern society. Addiction of smartphones could leads to negative impact on mental health. It would be challenging for them to distant themselves with their phones. The people who were addicted will suffer social anxiety, depression and stress. As a result, their daily productivity would be decreased.

Future Vision

We could see clearly that the smartphone have its ups and downs. on the positive side of the upcoming vision, we would achieve the evolution of smartphone which allows us to video call using a hologram. A hologram is a high technology which can allow the user to visualize in 3-D. There would be device to show the entire body rather than using a phone. It feels the same as a face-to-face meeting but in a virtual way.

The smartphones are installed with 5G and more. This means exchanging information from one to another user could be transfer faster and widespread. It also helps to increase the range of the connectivity of internet to most of the rural area. People who lived in the rural area also be able to communicate or keep in update with the news in the city.

Although the advancement of smartphones are rising, do not forget about the cyber-crime and cyber-bullying will be rising as well. The higher the technologies, the higher the rate of scammer. Achieving a better software, there would be a minor groups that are using it for their goods. It is also leads to increasing the inappropriate activities occurring. 

Solution

Phone company could install some kind of device in the phone so that it could beam the images out from the phone. The 3D holograms is a photogenic technique that beam lights to form an object which shows in 3-dimensional. In this way, we could see every corner or the smaller parts of the image. This way could be an advantage for seller to show in details every part of its product and easier for the customer to make decision. Unfortunately. there would be an disadvantage of doing so. Nowadays the pricing of a smartphone are insanely high. Some price of the expensive ones are almost the same with some of the motorcycle. This means it would be a problem for the youngster who are not in rich families. They will tends to sell the things that are bad to gain the money to buy the phones. This include drugs, kidnapping and many more that can obtain money easily.

Cybercrime is not only stealing others financial information, but it seems to evolve every year. Cybercriminal that often happens are cyber-stalking, bullying in online and child sexual exploitation. To overcome this situation, consider to install a security software which provides protection to all the devices to ensure the safety of its user privacy. There also be a downside of this. In the current days, person who are intellect with the technology tends to use it in different ways that can  obtain money or any information easily. One of them could be the security software. By doing so, the hacker would not need to hack or steal the information as it is already in their hands.

Besides using the security software, improvise the usage of AI into something that can guard our privacy and reminding us for any suspicious activity on-going in our device. This is more suitable as it is can secure our privacy all the time. This AI would be constantly taking care of our personal information which means hacker will have a hard time when they trying to steal it. Technology is a great tools for people but it also can be a downfall for certain people. Even the great technologies, there would be a slight possibilities that the device would go haywire or could not be control. Imagine if the AI tools have its own defects. This means the AI could use the information that they have and use it against humanity and that would be an unstoppable.

Reflection

In my opinion, smartphone can lead us to problems that we would face in future if we do not use it wisely. Not only to the youngsters, even the older generations. Even though it has its weakness or problems for their users but it also shows us without having a smartphone, we will be in a disadvantage in our current situation. In conclusion, having a smartphone can be a good or bad for each individual depending on its user whether they are using it for goods or otherwise.
